When rehearsal dates never align in the group chat, a date poll collects yes, maybe, and no from everyone in one place — then shows which slots win.
Open Date Poller under Band → Management and click New Date Poll. Title is required; description is optional. Tick Show on dashboard to pin a reminder on the Home screen for all members. Pick dates on the calendar — click days to add them to the list on the right. For each date you can mark all-day or add timeslots with start, end, and optional label. Submit Create Poll when at least one date is selected; an error modal appears if you forgot dates.
Your band’s plan may cap how many polls exist; when full, creation is blocked with a message.
Opening an active poll lands in compact view: each date or timeslot row has green, yellow, and red buttons for yes, maybe, and no. Answers save immediately when you tap a button. Select All at the top applies yes, maybe, or no to every date at once — useful when you know your whole month.
A yellow banner counts dates you have not answered yet; Next jumps to the next open row. Expand View switches to the results layout (closed polls open here by default).
Closed or archived polls show a notice that you can read results but not vote.
In expanded view the calendar sits beside the full date list. Click a day in the calendar to scroll the list to that date, flash it briefly, and expand every row for that day. Click a date heading to expand or collapse all rows for that date. Click the green, yellow, or red count pills on one row to see member names in each bucket.
On wide screens the calendar stays sticky while you scroll the list. After you scroll down, a circular back-to-top button appears top-right.
Use the actions menu on expanded view to create Rehearsals or Create Gigs from selected winning dates when those features are installed — pick dates in the flow that follows.
When one poll is not enough to plan a season, open Date Chooser from the date poller menu. Select a poll and a mode: one best date per month, all dates with full availability, or all dates with at least 80% yes. Load Suggestions, review the list, select dates, and create rehearsals or gigs in bulk. Multi-Band Mode checks polls across bands you belong to before creating events. A results page after creation lists what was made and offers undo when something went wrong.
Edit from the poll view changes title, description, dates, and timeslots. Delete on the list uses a confirmation modal and removes all responses. Status active, closed, or archived is shown on the index table.
Cannot create more polls — delete old polls or ask your band lead about the plan limit. Nobody responding — share the poll link from the view page and remind members; everyone in the band can vote with no extra rights. Suggestions empty in Date Chooser — try a looser mode or wait until more members have answered.
