When the venue asks for input list, stage plot, and backstage snacks in one package, riders holds the technical and hospitality details your band sends to promoters.
Rider list
The riders table shows name, contact person, and whether the public link is enabled. Click a row to edit. Add rider starts a blank form. Duplicate on a row copies the rider so you can tweak a variant lineup without rebuilding from scratch.
On the rider form, name the setup (for example Full band or Acoustic trio). Contact person picks a band member; optional override fields replace their name, email, or phone on the PDF and public page without changing the member profile. General technical notes are free text for backline, power, or other global requirements.
Tick Public rider link enabled so this rider is reachable at your band’s public slug when the band has a public URL set. The External public links block at the top copies artist page, rider page, and rider PDF URLs when the slug exists; otherwise it points you to Band settings → Profile & sharing.
Lineup
Lineup builds from band members plus optional guest musicians (Add guest musician). Expand each accordion section for seating (standing, chair, bar stool, or custom), power outlets, and member notes. Instrument rows come from Manage Members by default — tick Include on each instrument you need on this rider, then fill connection, mic, phantom, DI, and per-instrument notes. Add instrument adds ad-hoc rows for guests or extras.
Enable monitor mix on a member to set slider levels per instrument in the band. Removing a member or instrument from the band later drops linked lineup rows automatically.
Monitoring and stage plot
Monitoring holds monitor count and monitoring notes for the FOH engineer. Stage plot is a drag canvas: pull band members, a monitor wedge, or custom items from the tool panel onto the stage. Snap to grid aligns blocks; Center stage layout and Reset stage recover a tidy layout. Drag the bottom handle to resize stage height. Saving the rider stores layout and generates the plot image used in PDF and public views.
Hospitality
Turn on Enabled under Hospitality rider, then Add hospitality item for each section (title plus body text — meals, dressing room, drinks, and so on). Disabled hospitality hides the block on export even if rows remain saved.
Exporting
PDF on the edit toolbar downloads the full rider. The public rider page (when enabled) is mobile-friendly with download buttons at top and bottom for the same PDF.
If you do not see Add rider or save controls, your band lead has not given you edit rights on riders.
When something goes wrong
Public links missing — set the band public URL under Profile & sharing and enable Public rider link on the rider. Empty instrument list — add instruments under Manage Members first, then reopen the rider. Stage plot not updating — save the rider after editing the canvas so the image regenerates.
