Feedback Module - User Manual
Introduction
The Feedback module lets you send bug reports, improvement ideas, feature requests and questions to the development team. You can do this from any page via the feedback icon in the header. All your submissions are listed under Tools → Feedback, where you can also see replies and status updates.
Sending feedback
- Click the message icon in the top header (next to the help icon).
- Choose a type: Bug, Improvement, Feature request, Question, Ticket, or Other.
- Enter your feedback in the text area.
- Optionally add a screenshot (PNG, JPG or WebP, max 5 MB).
- If you want email updates when someone replies or when the status becomes Resolved or Closed, check "Email me when there are replies or status updates".
- Click Send.
The module and page (e.g. Songs, Calendar) are filled in automatically from the page you are on.
- Open Tools → Feedback in the menu.
- You see a list of all your submissions with: type, module, a short preview, status, number of replies and last update.
- Click a row to open the full item.
Status
- New – Just submitted.
- Open – In progress.
- Waiting – Waiting for your answer or more information.
- Resolved – Handled.
- Closed – Closed (e.g. duplicate or won’t fix).
If an item is on the roadmap, an "On roadmap" badge is shown.
View and replies
On the detail page you see:
- The full text and (if any) screenshots.
- All replies from you and from the team.
- A form to add a reply.
Use replies to give extra information or to continue the conversation.
Email updates
When you check "Email me when there are replies or status updates" at submission:
- You get an email when someone (e.g. an admin) replies to your feedback.
- You get an email when the status is set to Resolved or Closed.
You can’t change this choice later; it only applies to new submissions.
Admin
Administrators have an Admin button on the Feedback overview that goes to Feedback (Admin). There they can:
- Filter by type, module, status and roadmap.
- Open any item, change status and roadmap, and add replies.
- See who submitted and manage the backlog.
The roadmap can be used for planning and is also available via the public API for use on a website.
